This image makes me think of all sorts of delicious situations. Is she a model? A submissive? Just curious about whether the tub will be good for bathing, or less clean things? Only our imaginations truly know.

Last Week’s Links

Then Marie delighted us, first with Riding Up to Floor 44, where an office affair becomes the height of entertainment. And second with, Good Fences make Good Neighbours: a mysterious tale with a touch of Darkness.

Getting my Man at the Youth Club by Dianne Herbert

It was a spicy week on TT. With so many great tales to choose form, sometimes it’s almost impossible to pick just one. But this tale feeds all my pleasure centers! I think it will do the same for yours!

Jo really wants Jacob, like bad! When she thinks that Jacob prefers someone else, Jo will do whatever it takes to get what she wants. But maybe what she wants will be more than she expected! I do hope so!

Read it now, seriously!

Book Club

The recommended Book for October is:

How To Be Eaten by Maria Adelmann

Book Club recommended read week 92
Image found on Goodreads

Good reads describes this book as :

This darkly funny and provocative novel reimagines classic fairy tale characters as modern women in a support group for trauma.

“In present-day New York City, five women meet in a basement support group to process their traumas. Bernice grapples with the fallout of dating a psychopathic, blue-bearded billionaire. Ruby, once devoured by a wolf, now wears him as a coat. Gretel questions her memory of being held captive in a house made of candy. Ashlee, the winner of a Bachelor-esque dating show, wonders if she really got her promised fairy tale ending. And Raina’s love story will shock them all.

Though the women start out wary of one another, judging each other’s stories, gradually they begin to realize that they may have more in common than they supposed . . . What really brought them here? What secrets will they reveal? And is it too late for them to rescue each other?

Dark, edgy, and wickedly funny, this debut for readers of Carmen Maria Machado, Kristen Arnett, and Kelly Link takes our coziest, most beloved childhood stories, exposes them as anti-feminist nightmares, and transforms them into a new kind of myth for grown-up women”

Watch for my synopsis at the end of October.

It’s Thanksgiving this weekend in Canada (We celebrate in a different month and for a different reason than our American neighbours). As a time of celebration for a bountiful harvest as well as friends and family to share it with, I want to share one of my favourite Canadian recipes.

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup baking cocoa
