week 44

Welcome to Week 44 of Mmm Mondays, where we turn Monday woes into Monday whoas!

Last week had 11 tempting posts with a delicious fruit salad, a rocketing climax and a binary spanking. We also weathered a storm, made a rookie mistake and created an opening. You can read all those Mmm’s and more here.

Mmm Mondays is a weekly meme where you can share what makes you say Mmm, whether fun, flirty or foody. No matter what it is, we want to her about it. The rules (yes, there’s rules) can be found here along with the Mmm Mondays badge. Promotion of this blogging meme and your post(s) can be done by using #mmmMondays.

No blog? No problem! We accept posts from other platforms too, like Medium Tumblr and Fetlife. If you don’t follow any of those, please send me (MrsK) a message at Lifeofakinkywife@gmail.com, via twitter, or using the on-site submission form. I’ll be happy to add your Mmm’s for you!

While you’re here, please take a minute or two to read one or more other posts and don’t forget to like or comment if they make you say Mmm too! And of course, I encourage sharing. For any posts you may have missed, watch for them on Monday they’re shared on twitter. Don’t forget to follow us so you never miss a post!

Week 44 Recipe

Hallo-“Weenies”

A fun way to use those cookie cutters not made for regular company 😉

Ingredients- Cookies

  • Penis shaped cookie cutter (not an ingredient, but required for hallo-weenies!)
  • 10 tbsp (142g) unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla (clear will keep your dough white, but you’ll decorate anyway, so do what you want!)
  • 1 1/2 (180g) cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt (optional. If you like the salt flavour you can use salted butter instead, but it doesn’t stay cold as well)

Ingredients- Royal Icing

(royal icing hardens upon sitting. Butter cream will stay soft and perhaps make a bigger mess than you want)

  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp meringue powder(my vegan friends can use xanthan gum or agar powder)
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 tbsp water
  • food colouring gel (red, green, blue, yellow, orange, or any colour you want)

Cookie Directions

  • Using mixer, cream butter and sugar together until smooth
  • add sugar, mix until combined
  • Add flour, scraping sides of bowl until mixed in. Don’t over mix or your cookies will be tough
  • roll into ball and refrigerate for 15 minutes (it will make it less sticky and easier to roll)
  • Preheat oven to 350F (180C)
  • Cut dough into 4 pieces and return three to fridge
  • roll out dough, cut while cold and place on parchment covered tray (silicone baking sheets work great for this!)
  • bake for 10 minutes
  • transfer to rack to cool
  • repeat with other 3 portions

Icing Directions

  • add meringue powder to sugar and whisk to combine
  • add vanilla and water ( a little at a time to keep good consistency)
  • whisk until completely combined
  • divide into smaller bowl (one for each colour you’d like)
  • add colouring to each bowl and stir well
  • place in piping bag (don’t leave icing uncovered, it will harden FAST! If it does, ass a few tbsps warm water and stir until mixed))
  • Decorate as desired. To keep icing form flowing over sides, do outline first and fill in second (this also reduces your waste)
  • Let dry
  • Enjoy!

Happy Halloween !

The Facebook page I found Hallo-weenies on gave them super fun names like: Cummy Mummy, Dead Dick (Zombie), Count Cockula, Werewolf Willie, Boo-ner, and Franken Wankin’. Even if you don’t like cookies, you’re sure to get a laugh!
