1tbspcastor sugar (icing or berry sugar will work well too!)
1/3cuporange liquor
750mlsparkling white winechilled
8cupsice cubes
1smallorangecut into thin slices
2/3cupfrozen pomegranate seeds OR cranberriesfell free to use both
fresh mintto serve
Instructions
Place juice and sugar in saucepan and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Set aside and let cool completely (I pour it over whisky stones to save time)
In punch bowl, combine juice mixture, liqueur and wine. Stir together.
Place ice cubes in bowl (again whisky stone work well to keep cold without watering down), then add seeds, berries and orange slices. Place mint leave on top to garnish.

Notes
For a kid-friendly version, use orange juice in place of liqueur, and sparkling juice in place of wine.
