Week 56 Recipe
Boozy Boobs
A delicious mix of booze and Boobs- chicken boobs, that is.
Recipe recommended by Mrs Fever of Temperatures Rising
Boozy Boobs
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts skinless and boneless sliced into halves or quarters
Marinade
- 1 cup Bourbon
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp multi-seasoning ie: Lowry's seasoned salt, or Adam's multi-seasoning
- 5 cloves garlic chopped
- 1/2 tsp ginger fresh or ground
- 1/4 tsp pepper black
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp cornstarch or other thickener (if using flour, use twice the amount and mix with a bit of water before adding)
Serving
- 1/4 cup green onions chopped
Instructions
- Mix marinade ingredients together.
- Coat Chicken breasts and marinate for minimum 1 hour (or overnight).
- Place all ingredients into crock-pot. If chicken is not submerged in liquid, top off with water.
- Place lid and cook on high for two hours or low for 6 hours.
- Top with Green Onion
- Serve with mashed potatoes, rice or couscous and a salad.
- Enjoy!
