A new month is upon us (time sure flies!) and with it, a new Mmm maker. For the month of May, please welcome The Barefoot Sub of Leafoffaith.uk to the spotlight!
The Barefoot Sub is a submissive who hails from the U.K. where she uses her blogging platform as a sharing feature for her D/s dynamic. Through Barefoot’s vivid recollection of events, we are given the opportunity to walk along in her shoes (or bare-foot), and explore the world of bondage, Dominance and submission, and self-love.
With a collection of personal insights, kinky shenanigans, and product reviews, Leapoffaith.uk is filled with first hand experience, a journey of self-discovery and images that will take your breath away. It’s a site worth exploring, and I highly recommend you do!

To get to know The Barefoot Sub better, we asked her some questions. This is what she had to say!
What is your astrological sign?
My star sign is Scorpio, and I mostly fit the stereotype.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
As a child? Heck, at 39 I want to be a rally driver when I grow up!
When did you first begin writing?
From a young age I was a prolific writer. It got lost along the way, but I’m so glad I was guided back to it. My first published piece was a poem I entered into a national competition at age 14. It was highly commended and so my work made it into print.
What led to the idea of your blog/site/niche/etc.?
My blog was a task from Sir. Prior to being asked to set it up I had not paid more than a passing interest in the blogging world, and now I’m fully immersed in it.
What are you most proud of accomplishing? Either in blogging or in general?
I think this applies across the board. I’m most proud of being authentically me. If I show you part of myself you’re genuinely getting me rather than a persona. In blogging this means that I share with an authentic voice, and in the big wide world my family, friends and other people in my world know where they stand and (I hope) feel safe.
What is one book everyone should read?
Hmmmm… that’s a tricky one!
Or perhaps not so difficult after all.
My top book of 2021 is Vita Nostra by Maryna and Serhiy Dyachenko. I’m surprised to still feel the loss of this literary world, six months after completing the novel.
Name a song that means something to you. Feel free to share why. Alternatively tell us about your favourite song of all time.
This is so hard!!! There are so many to choose from. I love The Allergies, a Bristol based hip hop band. I could choose any of theirs, but Sound Advice (feat. HypeMan Sage) is my pick for the day
If they made a movie about you, who do you think would play you?
Tilda Swinton I think. She is a great actress, in both mainstream and alternative colours.
What quote defines the way you live your life?
“What matters most is how well you walk through the fire.”
Charles Buckowski
We will all live through traumatic events. For me, how I show up is more important than coming out unscathed.
