Welcome to Week 163 of Mmm Mondays, where we turn Monday woes into Monday whoas!

If you dream it, you may come…
Imagine this: like every other night, you’re snug as a bug in a rug, drifting off into dreamland, when suddenly… bam! You’re thrust into a steamy scenario that would make even the boldest romance novel blush. You’re having a sex dream.
Now, sex dreams aren’t just random scenarios cooked up by your snoozing brain; oh no, they’re much more than that. They’re the mind’s way of saying, “there’s a lot of clutter in here, but instead of getting rid of things collecting dust, let’s sort through your desires.”
And while these dreams can be quite wild, having dramas unfold from rendezvous with exes to trysts with celebrities, your subconscious is like the ultimate matchmaker, pairing you up with the most unexpected co-stars, fear not, you’re not alone.
1 in 10 of all dreams has a hint of sex to it, and psychologists actually see sex dreams as a sign of a healthy imagination and a vibrant inner life. So, the next time you find yourself in a steamy scenario under the covers, just remember: it’s all in good fun, and your subconscious is simply putting on the greatest show on earth, one dream at a time.
Happy Dreaming!

Week 163 Recommended Reading
Mmm’s on Medium
This last week has been slower than past, mostly due to writers being busy elsewhere (it was Valentine’s Day after all.) The ones we did have were as always of high quality though. In order:
Kinky Katie talked about how two becomes three in Once Upon a Threesome.
Laura Knapke shared a new recipe for Savory Chicken Pot Pie.
Flure shared a Valentine’s Day tale in A Good Girl goes bad for Valetine’s Day.
And MrsK shared a short tale.
Book of the Month
Dirty Talk by Lauren Landish
He makes dirty sound so good. So right. The moment I heard his velvety voice growl that I’m his ‘Kitty Kat’, I knew I was in trouble. Derrick ‘The Love Whisperer’ King gives out relationship and sex advice on the radio to everyone, but he’s giving me something a bit more personal. Nobody’s ever talked to me the way he does. Daring, Demanding, Sexy… and oh, so Dirty. Maybe we started this whole thing a little backward, sex first and getting to know each other after. But I’m starting to let my guard down, my untrusting heart beginning to think that maybe fairy tales do come true. Even for me. I feel beautiful and hopeful when he worships my body. I feel dirty and naughty when he whispers filthy things in my ear. But is it real? Can something so naughty really be good for me? And more importantly, against all odds, can it last… forever?
Ohhhhh. Myyyyyyy. That’s all I have to say.
Week 163 Recipe
I recently made these for a house guest who has celiac disease. They were a hit! Hearty and chocked full of whole foods. Perfect any time.
Chocolate Banana Waffles
Ingredients
- 1 ⅓ cup oat flour
- 1 cup milk I used oat milk
- 1 banana ripen
- 4 tablespoons coconut oil melted and cooled
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons cacao powder
- 2 teaspoon Ceylon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Prepare and measure all ingredients using measuring cups.
- Place 1 cup of milk, 1 ripen banana and 4 tablespoons of coconut oil in a blender. Blend on high for few seconds until ingredients fully combine. Add in 2 eggs and pulse for few seconds. Don’t overmix.
- Add in 1+⅓ cup oat flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, pinch of salt, 2 tablespoons of cacao powder and 2 teaspoons of Ceylon cinnamon. Blend everything until you get a smooth mixture.
- Heath up your waffle maker until it’s completely HOT (the green light must be on). If needed, grease the waffle maker with coconut oil cooking spray or using the brush.
- Pour ⅓ cup of batter onto the hot waffle maker, close the lid and allow it to cook for before removing and repeating the process for the rest of the batter. Depending on how strong your waffle maker is, it will take 8-10 minutes for waffle to be done. DON’T open waffle maker before waffles are completely cooked.
- Remove cooked waffles from the waffle maker and place it on a cooling rack. Let them cook to room temperature. Freshly cooked waffles will be soft when you take them out of the waffle maker but they will harden as they cool on the rack.
- Serve and add toppings.
Notes
SubstitutionsYou can swap oat milk for almond milk or organic soy milk. Cow’s milk works fine here too.For added sweetener use maple syrup, raw honey or you can add few soaked dates, or date syrup.MAKE IT VEGAN: Swap eggs with flax or chia egg. Use non-dairy milk.MAKE IT GLUTEN-FREE: Use certified gluten-free oats.
Keep covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
