week 46

Welcome to Week 46 of Mmm Mondays, where we turn Monday woes into Monday whoas!

Last week had 11 scrumptious posts with trickles of lust, something different and a favourite chair. There was also a wall of pleasure, London Hook-ups and being forced out of a comfort zone. You can read all those Mmm’s and more here.

Mmm Mondays is a weekly meme designed to make you say Mmm. Open from Fridays at Noon until Tuesdays at 6 pm, you have four days to tell us about what makes you lick your lips. Some suggestions are a favourite food, a preferred position or perhaps a place you like to be. There are no wrong answers here!

You can find the Meme rules and a badge here, and posts can be added below using the linky tool. To ensure that others find you and your Mmm’s, use #mmmMondays on social media.

Don’t have a personal blog? No worries! Send me (MrsK) a message at lifeofakinkywife@gmail.com, via twitter or submit your Mmm’s using the on-site form. We also accept posts from shared platforms like Medium, Tumblr and Fetlife (not all viewers will have access, though). We want your mmm’s, we don’t care where they come from.

While you’re here, take a few seconds to read one or more other posts. Don’t forget to like or comment if they make you say Mmm too, and of course, I encourage sharing. For any posts you may have missed, watch for them on Monday when they’re highlighted on Twitter. Don’t forget to follow Mmm Mondays, so you never miss a post!

Week 46 Recipe

Cum and Go Crepes

Week 46 recipe

Crepes seem like a lot of work, but are actually quite easy. Great for a morning after, or when trying to impress that special someone.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (150g) all-purpose flour (I use unbleached)
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • pinch salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) milk – whole milk will give crepes a “meatier” texture and skim a lighter and fluffier feel
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (or vanilla sugar in place of granulated)
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • softened butter for cooking

Directions

  • Whisk flour, sugar and salt together, stirring a few times to add air
  • add eggs, half the milk and the vanilla, whisking until smooth.
  • add remaining milk in a slow stream, stirring constantly
  • heat 9-10 inch(25cm) non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  • Brush preheated skillet with butter
  • pour approximately 1/8th cup (4 tbsp) into center of skillet, tilting skillet to evenly spread batter to edges
  • cook until the edges peel away from pan and are slightly browned
  • flip crepe with spatula and let cook for another 10 seconds (15 at most)
  • Place on plate and cover with aluminum foil to keep warm and soft
  • top with any desired toppings. Some favourites are strawberries and whipped cream, chocolate sauce and raspberries, or maple syrup.
  • For a savoury surprise try sauteed veggies like spinach, mushroom and onion
  • Eating on the run? Roll up the toppings inside your crepe and wrap with parchment papaer
  • Enjoy!
