Week 69 Recipe
Chocolate Mousse
Chocolate Mousse is super simple to make. While something the whole family will love, it’s perfect for those night with your significant other (or flame), and a delicious accompaniment to a 69 (like they weren’t Mmm worthy enough)!
Chocolate Mousse
Equipment
- 1 saucepan
- 1 medium bowl
- 1 hand mixer/hand blender
- 1 whisk
Ingredients
- 8 oz chocolate (any type you like, semi sweet chips work great), in small pieces (1 cup approx.)
- 6 tbsp water room temperature
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups whipping cream (double cream) chilled until use
- 1/4 cup confectioners suger more or less as desired
Instructions
- Place bowl and beaters in freezer until needed
- Add chocolate and water to saucepan and melt over medium low heat
- Whisk in vanilla
- Let cool
- Remove bowl and beaters from freezer, whip cream using chilled bol and beaters
- Once whiped, blend in chocolate on low speed
- Scoop Mousse into clear vessels for serving
- Garnish with grated chocolate, fruit, or extra melted chocolate (or leave as it)
- Enjoy!
