Last Week’s Link’s
Last Week had 7 scrumptious posts. Marie Shared the Magic of Marriage, a sweet tale about how to make a marriage work, even when you think you couldn’t. She followed that with Excited Bodies And Risky Speed, were we took a trip to the race track!
Then Posy shared an erotic tale named I’m old enough to be his great-grandmother — Picking up a guy in a bar. The title is self explanatory, but the story! Oh, the story! Just go read it!
Next Musing of a Switch delighted us with another installment of Christina and John where we see the grand finale to their grand weekend!
Liz Black shared The Russian Bride Kidnapped, part 6 of the Mail order Bride Series, where Ana finds herself unexpectedly all tied up.
Then Steeled Snake and Charmer shared C is for Cherries, and add to my list of reason Cherries are one of my favourite foods!
And for good measure, Barefoot shared an Expert and Sharp toy review, of the Pomi Wand. It may be small in size, but packs a punch!
You can read all those Mmm’s here.
Mmm Maker
September has 5 Fridays (and today is it), so we’ll do a recap of our Mmm Makers to date.
A huge thanks to Steeled Snake and Charmer for gracing us with their presence for the Month of September. If you missed their spotlight post, makes sure you check it out below.
The first 6 months of the year brought us all of this! If you haven’t given these highlights a read, make sure you do. These Mmm Makers know how to make you say Mmm!
Next week we’ll highlight a brand new Mmm Maker: Kristan X of Lascivity.co.uk
Week 92 Recommended Read
This section is changing. Instead of a book each week, I will recommend my favorite story of the week from Tantalizing Tales: A Medium Publication – Creating fiction to beguile and awaken your imagination!
There are a lot of great stories on Tantalizing tales, and I don’t say that because I write (and edit a bit) for them too. May and Posy know how to draw talent. Make sure to check Tantalizing Tales out!
For this week’s tantalizing tale, I chose:
Remembering A Broken Romance by Jordan Riley
In Remembering a Broken Romance, our narrator does just that. An erotic story that watches as “A woman remembers a beautiful beginning, to an adulterous middle, and a wistful end.”
Warning: Tears may spill at the end. But the sex is so good!
Also, I will recommend a book club read each month. I’m looking for suggestions. And if anyone would like to chat about the book, please send me a message. I’ll create a group if I get enough interest!
Book Club Read
How To Be Eaten by Maria Adelmann
Good reads describes this book as :
This darkly funny and provocative novel reimagines classic fairy tale characters as modern women in a support group for trauma.
“In present-day New York City, five women meet in a basement support group to process their traumas. Bernice grapples with the fallout of dating a psychopathic, blue-bearded billionaire. Ruby, once devoured by a wolf, now wears him as a coat. Gretel questions her memory of being held captive in a house made of candy. Ashlee, the winner of a Bachelor-esque dating show, wonders if she really got her promised fairy tale ending. And Raina’s love story will shock them all.
Though the women start out wary of one another, judging each other’s stories, gradually they begin to realize that they may have more in common than they supposed . . . What really brought them here? What secrets will they reveal? And is it too late for them to rescue each other?
Dark, edgy, and wickedly funny, this debut for readers of Carmen Maria Machado, Kristen Arnett, and Kelly Link takes our coziest, most beloved childhood stories, exposes them as anti-feminist nightmares, and transforms them into a new kind of myth for grown-up women”
Watch for my synopsis at the end of October.
Week 92 Recipe
Easy Vegan Sugar Cookies
You’ve likely noticed, I don’t post a lot of vegan recipes, and well, that’s because I’m not vegan and live in close to the livestock capital of Canada. We like our beef!
But these Vegan Sugar cookies are so delicious! With coconut milk to replace the dairy, they have an almost exotic taste, and don’t lack for any flavor!
Perfect Vegan Sugar Cookies

- 2 bowls and mixing utensils
- 1-2 baking sheets, lined with parchment paper
- 1 Rolling Pin

- ½ cup vegan margarine such as Earth Balance®

- Sift flour, baking soda, and salt into a bowl.
